Here at Equi’s, we are incredibly excited to unveil our new branding—a playful nod to our rich Scottish-Italian heritage that we hope will bring a smile to your face every time you reach for a tub of our delicious ice cream.

When thinking of a look that would perfectly capture the essence of Equi’s, we knew it had to be something iconic, something that would make people smile, and most importantly, something that represents our roots. Enter David, Michelangelo’s timeless masterpiece, but with a twist: he’s now donning the famous Glasgow pokey hat!

Inspired by the Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow, which is famously adorned with a traffic cone, our David (a cheeky nod to our own David Equi) is wearing a pokey hat—an endearing symbol of Glasgow’s cheeky spirit and a perfect blend of our Italian heritage and Scottish humour.

While our new look is all about fun, our commitment to quality remains as serious as ever. A key highlight on our new packaging proudly states that we use double cream in every flavour. This core value drives us to produce the richest, creamiest, and most indulgent ice cream possible.

Double cream is at the heart of what makes our ice cream stand out. It’s the reason behind that luxuriously smooth texture and the deep, satisfying flavour that our customers love.
