Making a Sweet Difference for Over 100 Years!
At Equi’s, we believe in creating a world as sweet and caring as our ice cream. For more than 90 years, we’ve been there for families, school celebrations, and those much-needed post-breakup indulgences. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
Maggie’s Lanarkshire
In remembrance of Roberto Equi, the visionary second-generation of our business, we proudly champion Maggie’s Lanarkshire. Maggie’s haven at Monklands Hospital provides practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer, ranging from financial advice to exercise classes and walking groups.
Over the last 5 years we have raised a total of £34,051 for Maggie’s Lanarkshire. In 2022 we pledged £12,000 annually in support of the cancer caring facility, to “pay for a day” of its busy programme of support until 2026.

For more than five years, we’ve been honored to bring our comforting ice cream to the patients at Kilbryde Hospice. Their dedicated team goes above and beyond, ensuring individuals facing life-limiting conditions receive the care they deserve right when they need it, all within the embrace of their local community.

Supporting Cole Thompson
We support local boy Cole Thomson from East Kilbride who suffers from paralysing drug resistant epileptic seizures. We sponsored Cole’s Christmas Wish campaign in 2022 & 2023 to fundraise for the £18,000 annual cost of the 10-year-old’s private medical cannabis prescription. Since taking a daily dose of the cannabis oil Bedrolite he is seizure-free and has gone from being confined to a wheelchair with limited speech to launching his own YouTube channel and training in taekwondo.

Our partnership extends to the Hamilton Academical FC Community Trust, who provide events and support for local children and families.
