Success at the Golden Scoop Awards!

At this year’s Golden Scoop Awards, run by the Ice Cream Alliance, each of the 12 flavours we entered received a 5 Star rating! Even better, 8 of them placed in the top five in their category.

The award winning flavours included our classics like Belgian Chocolate, Strawberry Ripple, Pistachio Swirl and Madagascan Vanilla.

We also ventured into some new flavours that we made specially for the competition, like Hot Heather Honey with a Honey Chilli Ripple, and Sourdough Ice Cream with a Salted Butter Caramel Ripple. Not your usual choices… but they did us proud. Would you give them a go?

To get 5 Stars, a flavour has to be right up there with the very best – scoring at least 95% of the top mark in its class. It’s all judged blind by industry experts on flavour, texture and appearance, so it really comes down to what’s in the tub. Basically, everything has to be spot on.

These awards mean a lot to us because every flavour is judged on taste, texture and quality, which is exactly what we focus on every day. As a fourth-generation family business, we’ve always believed that if you use proper ingredients and take your time, the results speak for themselves!
